This public sector client was consolidating two systems into a single system running on different technology. The data in the original systems needed to be tidied, manipulated, validated and converted to support being loaded into the new system.
This process had to be run regularly and to produce a series of reports that the users could act upon to tidy data in the source systems prior to implementation of the new system.
The Think Software team designed, wrote and implemented a database system - which the client could run whenever it chose - to ensure the source systems were kept clean in preparation for the switchover to the new system. And, needless to say, it was on time and budget.
