The already flexible Think Glass order processing system has just got even better. Thanks for the feedback from you, our customers, we are proud to announce the release of Think Glass Version 1.03.

Think Glass V1.03 Key Features

The latest release of the software now allows you to:

  • Produce labels for work going into the works area.
  • Apply minimum order pricing, set this at the company level and indicate to which customers minimum order pricing applies.
  • Identify a customer as being zero-rated for VAT and invoice accordingly.
  • Place "hard" and "soft" stops against a customer to either prevent any order processing taking place or warn that accounts are overdue.
  • Choose whether to use your pre-printed stationary for Estimates, Invoices and Credit Notes or use the inbuilt ones.
  • Use the copy facility to create a new document quickly based on an existing document. This cuts the time needed to create new documents where most of the details are the same.
  • Choose whether to automatically produce an Order Acknowledgement when a Works Order is produced.
  • Identify customers for whom you operate a "Self Billing" system, and for those customers the system will automatically produce a "Request for Payment" document. In these cases the automatic feed into the accounts system will be suspended.
  • Create Split shipping lines, producing a delivery note for a whole order and a delivery note for certain lines on the order.
  • Show the current status of an order down to the line level, allowing you quickly to identify bottlenecks and current Work In Progress.
  • Produce a toughening report identifying those orders that contain stock requiring external toughening.
  • Uplift your stock and process prices by identifying like groups and applying an uplift percentage.
